When we arrived to the ship, the embarkment went quickly and very organized. It was nice to see Carnival personnel there to help you fill out the necessary paperwork. That helps. Our room was reserved to accomodate four people, and it did this very well. We never felt crowded or cramped and our cabin stewart (Giovani) was fabulous. He was never in our way during the whole cruise and knew exactly what times we would be gone so he could tidy us up. He was great. All of the crew members, from the cabin stewart to the pool waiters, were extremely nice and went above and beyond their job. The only complaint that we could think of was how we noticed that the Ecstasy has defintly been used and abused. I would think again about going on a cruise that allows public, closed areas to be used as an ashtray. I moved from table to table around the pool areas trying to find a place that was not "polluted" by half blitzed people chain smoking at 12:00 pm in the afternoon. If you prefer to be pampered and expect an afternoon tea and orchesta for your cruise dollar, do not cruise on Carnival. We will absolutely pick another, more refined, cruise line next time that cares what people wear to dinner and how they look in a bathing suit.
