Room Type: Balcony

My wife and I just returned from our first cruise ever, a 5 day cruise on the Ecstasy and we were both totaly blown away by the quility of service and attention to detail by the crew.
We were making plans for our next cruise before we even got back to port in Galveston.

Pros: Crew was great

Cons: Rough seas

Recommends Carnival Ecstasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
This may be one of the smaller ships, but it still has anything you could want and it was very well maintained.
Food and Dining
Food and waitstaff were great.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony stateroom that was perfect.
The staff was always close by to service the room whenever it was needed.
Service and Staff
I find it amazing that the staff new our names and stateroom number within a very short time of our boarding the ship.
The waitstaff in the dining room remebered what our preferences were after the first night. From that night on, our places were set to out liking.
Entertainment was top notch, not second rate acts that did not make it elsewhere
Children's Programs
We were told by the cruise director thaere were over 350 children aboard on this cruise, we saw very few of them.
