Abusive treatment at embarkation

Sail Date: April 01, 2009

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

My cruise was ruined by the rude behavior of a Carnival employee and the abusive behavior of a security guard at embarkation. When I asked for a supervisor to complain about the rude behavior of a Carnival employee, the supervisor arrived with a security guard and, instead of apologizing, the security guard threatened to beat me up. I must add that I am a 5 ft tall, gray-haired, 60 year-old woman, and was traveling with 2 of my daughters.

Pros: Low cost

Cons: Rude behavior of security personnel at embarkation
