Review SummaryWe were told that Carnival was a noisy, economical and low-class cruise company. How wrong was that statement! I shall make it my mission to tell everyone that Carnival is the greatest cruise line at the greatest prices for the greatest variety of people!
We were so pleased to find an age variance of 80+years in our travelling companions. It makes us feel that cruising is something my wife and I can do for another 15-20 years. You take such good care of your clientele! The staterooms were spacious and well-furnished (latest in TV technology) and our stewards kept us exrtremely well supplied with everything! They were the best! The dining rooms and numerous bars were all friendly and accommodating! Thanks for the smoke-free areas as well as those designed for smokers. It is appreciated! One tiny point was the need to 'line up' like school children outside our dining room each evening - surely there is a way to have guests enter and seat themselves over a period of ten or so minutes without the need of a waiter and a menu card on arrival/ It would allow an opportunity to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or a glass of wine. Generally, the waiters hurried us through the ordering process. We were on late-seaing so time shojld not have been a factor. That being said, the dinners were fabulous and our needs were well cared for in a professional and friendly manner. Thanks!
The entertainment was adequate but surely the old broadway musicals can deliver enough great music without having to have 'special' ,music that no one has evr heard of being used. The female guest star's voice was less than enjoyable but costumes, lighting, orchestra and dancers/chorus were excellent. tHANK YOU
Miss kneival was a welcome voice on the ECSTASY. hER SINCERITY and friendliness were appreciated. Thanks for a great winter break. We shall be with you again in 2008 (or before if we can find the money).
I nearly forgot to mention the Duty Frfee shops on board. Their nightly draws and their charming staff made daily visits a must! Everything about them was First Class!

Pros: The crew and the Ecstasy combined to make us feel special!
Cons: The dancers were great but the musical material was not memorable.
