Review summary

We are hooked on cruising! Most stunning sunrise and sunsets in the world.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
The overall check in process went fairly well and quite quick. We arrived early, was at a steady pace in line up through verification checkpoint. The Covid screening and documentation checkpoint was quite fast as well. I can’t say that for the X-ray line. We stood in line and waited forever whilst anyone with any issues had an officer called over to visit with them in lieu of pulling them to the side and continuing on with processing next person in the line. The process was ridiculous and needed better customer service.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good, presentation was on point however it did take quite awhile for dinner service from beginning to end. Over an hour each night. It was not the issue of the waitstaff.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The shows were awesome, the mini golf was great, the serenity deck was a little piece of heaven!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We attended the Comedy shows every single night. They were great

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward and dining hall wait staff were excellent. I can’t say that for the bar staff with my bubble package.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was very clean however it is dated

Ship tip

Book excursions early! Don’t waste money on internet or bubbles package as internet was down more than up and you had to go to a bar and wait in long lines for a soda.. bar staff seemed put out for soda drinkers.. therefore last to serve.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Shopping is close. Haggle the price as they start out higher then drop it a bit.

Galveston, Texas

Nassau, Bahamas

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
We were not impressed with the experience getting off the boat. Sitting around for almost two and a half hours is terrible when you have an 8 hour drive ahead of you. Feel that process could be a bit better. Half our family was platinum members but had to wait for us to leave so we could travel together.. kinda puts a damper on things waiting in lines for luggage tags then sitting for hours.

Appreciate your feedback. It seems like embarkation and debarkation are the most problematic parts of sailing. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
