This was a great 5 day cruise, we pretty much had no complaints. The ship was nice, the crew was amazing(per usual), the food was good, and it was relaxing. We were able to spend time with family and it was a lot of fun, we wouldn't mind going back to Cozumel and Progresso again on a future cruise!
Embarkation

Smooth process like usual. My husband has his green card now so we had no issues.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food in our main dining restaurant was usually always great, but sometimes we had a hard time choosing because we weren't wowed by the choices.
Pizzeria del Capitano
3 out of 5
Was a little bit thin and hard and crispy, but it was alright. We only had the pizza once so we don't know if this was just a fluke or not
Scarlet Dining Room

The waitstaff were awesome, they were hilarious and always made us laugh. We usually loved the food but sometimes had a hard time picking something that sounded really good. We felt like their were better food options on past cruises
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the mini golf course on this ship more than prior cruises we've been on, and the arcade was fun and large enough. The pools seemed a little small for the size of the ship, especially the one on the lido deck, so that prevented us from getting in it but there were plenty of hot tubs and water slides and a couple other pools.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was great, he was from Indonesia and my husband was able to connect with him that way since he lived there for a while and could speak some of his language. Our main dining room staff were awesome as well, they were funny and super friendly. Everyone was really enjoyable on this ship, we loved everyone.
Ship Quality

Always very clean and the staff were always cleaning and on top of things. The ship was pretty up to date, but the carpet and wallpaper along the halls were a little outdated but not as bad as the Freedom which we had previously been on. However, the comedy club had a really cool design we thought.
We went to Paradise Beach this time and I paid $3 just for the day and my husband opted to pay the $18(I think) for the water activities and he paddle boarded, but they had all kinds of things to do. We shared lunch and it was great. We went snorkeling in the water for a while and saw a lot of great sea life (rays, barracudas, puffer fish, star fish) unfortunately I got stung by a jelly fish but the great guys here found me some vinegar to help with that so it didn't ruin my day! We loved this resort and will definitely come back here. The staff here are great, so sweet and friendly.
I can't comment on the actual port too much because we didn't walk around the port, but we went into Yucatan to Chichen Itza and it was really something else. Being able to drive through and see the cities that the locals live in and how they live was eye opening and an experience itself, so getting away from the port was nice. Chichen Itza and the Cenote was amazing, there's so much history and we could have spent all day learning about it. We loved talking with the locals and wandering around.
Overall, it was pretty smooth. Some guests started to try to disembark that weren't called that held up the process for a while. And then when we got down to the gangway we had to wait for quite a while which isn't too usual for disembarkations on Carnival. But overall they got everyone off in time, just had a few hiccups.
