Review summary
Housekeeping and restaurant staff were excellent. Food went from very good first 3 days, to average in the middle. The menu for the last night looked better but we missed it due to getting norovirus. We ate only on the ship and on one carnival sanctioned excursion in Belize. We went to ship Dr. and were then confined to cabin for last night. I kind of expected Carnival to follow up with at least a sorry and to see how we were doing, but that did not happen. We were still vacationing for another week while in the southeast, and the norovirus kind of ruined a good part of that. Hand wash stations were hard to find and often malfunctioned (kept spitting out soap). Plenty of antibacterial stations, but hardly ever saw anyone using them and the staff did not push use like the Holland America cruise we were on. I am a hand-washing fanatic and will not touch my food scooped up from a buffet, so not sure what else I could have done.Embarkation
