We really enjoyed our experience on the Dream! It was our first cruise and it was so lovely...really met and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very polite and outgoing, many knew our names from the first day of the cruise! I thought the Dream would be gaudy after watching several videos, but in reality it is not gaudy at all. Although our ship was almost filled to capacity, it didn't feel crowded. We found there was so much to see and so much to do, that we wished we could stay on another week! We had 3 teens in our family and they all enjoyed it as well, our younger ones enjoyed club O2 and the 19 year old just enjoyed vacationing on this luxurious cruise ship! It will not be our last cruise!!!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Better than I had expected. So many options to choose from. We enjoyed the Mongolian Wok and you could always get a great hamburger and fries from the Grill! The dining room breakfast and dinner had so many selections, we tried many new things and loved much of them!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
So much to do, we had to set aside time to remember that we were actually on vacation and could just relax too!
Entertainment

So many things to do...so much to choose from! Fun shows and entertainment!
Children's Programs

I didn't expect my 16 and 17 year olds to enjoy the club O2 much, but they joined in and really loved hanging out there in the evenings!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
They knew us by name! We loved our smiling steward, Christian and our dining staff, Rony, Edwin and Alvin always made sure that we were welcomed and treated us like royalty. Natze in the Spa also had such a nice warm personality!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean, design was laid out well so getting around the ship was easy. We liked the various decor...not so sure about the half-naked women paintings, but enjoyed the fun animal pictures!
Cabin / Stateroom

This was a handicapped spa interior cabin. We loved the huge bathroom and the room was very spacious; much more than we had expected to have with an interior cruise room. I would love to have a room like this again!
Ship tip
The specialty lunch spots close down earlier than the grill, sometimes at 2:30, and sometimes at 3:30. Be patient in the lines, they move quickly and it's sort of nice to meet your other cruise mates while you are in line!
Had to travel far to experience much of what we wanted to see in Jamaica. I think it would have been better to just spend the day at the beach so we didn't eat up our day traveling to our tour spot. Jamaica is not an island that we want to return to...much of it is really poor which is obvious to the traveler, and makes you feel badly that you are on vacation.
Loved this island! What a difference this was to Jamaica! It was by far the best one on our trip and we hope to return again someday! Cayman Eco Adventures did a wonderful tour with their speedboat!
Really appreciated the set taxi rates...everywhere we wanted to go was just set from one place to another so there was no confusion about getting around! Chankanaab offered a lot for our family and had pretty good snorkeling too...food was not so good there, though - sort of bland and expensive. We did enjoy the Sea lion show and the girls loved the Manatees!
