The ship is large, but easy to navigate. Didn't find the lines too long except for the elevators, especially disappointing when my spouse can't walk and must use elevators, lots of able bodied people crowding into the elevators vs. walking a flight or two. The 3 tiered show room, ENCORE, had only 4 handicapped spots, which able bodied people quickly snapped up, till I complained and better signage was put out, but still only 4 wheelchair spots on that big of a ship??!! SHAME ON YOU CARNIVAL!!!! Also only one handicapped tour in St. Thomas, where the bus was full of able bodied people, my husband had to wait 1/2 hour in the hot sun for the lift operator, and was overheated and too ill to get out at the first stop. Otherwise, enjoyed the show, especially the dance show. Won playing slots, but casino was smokey for non-smokers. Enjoyed the other lounges and music available, again hard to find seating for wheelchair bound spouse. We are Carnival Gold travelers and never waiting so long to recieve our dinner at the early sitting. Servers seemed overwhelmed, perhaps cut backs?? Dinner took almost till the 8pm seating, never ever have had such a long meal. Food was ok, not great, but plenty of choices. Enjoyed the sandwich shop, and pasta bowl. Mongolian grill was disappointing after quite a long wait, not much flavor. Pizza was NY style (thin) and always a wait. Serenity Adult sun decks were very full, hard again to find seats. Disappointed there was no Adult pool. And again no lifts for handicapped.

Food and Dining

Again we had early seating, and waited a good half hour for our appetizers. Very unusual, carnival service has always been quick in past. Food quality was a little disappointing, but overall tasty. The Lobster and shrimp evening was very good. Lots of complaints on the wait time for food though.

Evening shows were good, disappointed two evenings no early shows, only 10:30PM shows. Enjoyed various music preformed, very nice. Couples dancing, nice to watch!

Service and Staff

Mentioned lack of handicapped seating, and within 24 hours more signage was put up, though no announcement was made as I requested. 4 Wheelchair spots not enough for large theater. Requested tips for llido deck be removed from our bill and carnival employee was very short with us for doing this, even though we didn't use the meal service there or pool or bars. Thought tipping was optional???? Room steward very good. Waiters good, but not as attentive as in past, no pulled out chairs or remembering likes/dislikes.

Ship Quality

Large ship, we were on promenade deck, 11, loved it. Large accessible cabin with large window room 11202. No complaints, good room steward. Difficultty wheeling down hallway with cleaning carts always in hallway. Ship was clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Great handicapped cabin 11202, lots of room, large window, closet space, roll in shower very nice. Only complaint was slamming of door to outside next to our room.

Pros: Handicapped Cabin quite large, very clean!

Cons: Dining Room service SLOW!!! Worst ever timewise-waiting waiting waiting to eat!

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!
