Fair at best

The Dream is a beautiful ship (main reason that have sailed 4 times on the Dream). My major criticism was that a tropical storm was heading for the main ports. While Disney changed their itinerary for eastern Caribbean, Carnival did not until after the first port of call. Two ports of call in the Bahamas was weak. Better option would have been an eastern Caribbean with St. Thomas and St Marten.

Pros: The Dream is a beautiful ship; this was the 4th trip on the Dream.

Cons: Due to weather\, we did not do 3 of the 4 ports. Visited Cozumel but not Belize\, Roatan\, or Costa Maya. Progresso was substituted as were Freeport and Nassau Bahamas. Freeport was a waste. Should have done another location beside the Bahamas as we could have taken the ferry over to visit.

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship is beginning to have some minor upkeep issues but overall is of outstanding quality. We have been on 19 cruises and this is one of the better ships.
Food and Dining
Over the years\, the quality of the food has been marginal at best. If one seeks an 'all you can eat' then they are happy. If quality is desired\, you have to be cautious. The Dream has an India food area (aft on Lido deck) that is excellent; my favorite over the last 4 cruises. Service was slower in the dining room than in prior trips.
Cabin / Stateroom
Outstanding. One minor issue with shower drain not draining well. Quickly corrected by staff.
Service and Staff
Overall\, excellent. Bar staff did a great job!
Entertainment
Family enjoyed.
