A very nice ship to spend a week on. The amenities and the crew were terrific. The food, and the ports, not so good.

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
We were assigned to The Scarlet dining room, late seating. The staff and service were great, with exception of a few communications issues. We ate there most evenings, and several breakfasts. The menu choices were varied, but most options did not suit our tastes (too exotic). We tried the buffet several times, but found the food kind of bland, and cold. Too many side-dish options, not enough entree options. The Grill closed at 6:00 PM. No late night burgers?

Entertainment

5 out of 5
If anything, there was too much to do onboard. Had to miss several activities due to time conflicts. Encore! shows OK, but cast not engaged with audience. Looked to be just going through the motions. Very mechanical. Went to 3 comedy shows, and enjoyed them all very much. Never did figure out when and where the Kareoki (sp) was. My wife is an excellent singer, and wanted to show off, but couldn't.

Service and Staff

99% very helpful, and friendly. Always smiling and very approachable. Cruise Desk very helpful, even when I had stupid questions. Casino staff the least friendly.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The stateroom was very good, and plenty big (interior), with lots of storage space. Somewhere to sit, other than on the bed, would have been nice. Bathroom big enough, and counter/shelf space more than adequate.

Pros: The ship itself, and the staff.

Cons: The ports we stopped at.
