Great Cruise

Sail Date: June 02, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

Overall it was a good cruise on the Carnival Dream. The ports were good, most of the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The "formal" dinners were fine, nothing outstanding and it appeared the servers had too many tables, so some of the dinners took quite some time to serve. Cabin attendant, Randy, was very pleasant and accomodating to our schedule, as was Steffan at guest service that assisted me in getting in touch with my mobile phone company regarding international roaming charges. Tons of kids for my daughter to play with, pool always full.

Pros: staff friendliness and ports

Cons: Internet manager attitude and events outside the fun shops.

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Entertainment
Ship Quality
Internet access, which you pay for, was down frequently.
Service and Staff
With the exception of the internet manager, whose attitude was condensending and did not listen, remainder of staff very good
Children's Programs
Food and Dining
Food was ok, nothing specatcular, but not bad. The variety of choices in food types, i.e. Indian, Deli, etc. were good
