A Fantastic Cruise

Sail Date: February 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

We enjoyed our cruise immensely. The ship was always very clean, there was something to do at all times, day or night, and the personnel were friendly and very nice.

Pros: The food

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
You really do not leave the ship hungry. We sampled all the choices i.e. dining rooms for breakfast and lunch as well as our assigned dinner dining room. We sampled the buffets also at various times. We cruised with 3 other couples and met one if not all at various times to eat with.
Cabin / Stateroom
We loved our stateroom. Other cruises we have gone on we had a much smaller one and this one also had a balcony so we could see the ocean whenever we wanted. The room was very comfortable, had lots of storage. Was always very clean. Our stateroom staff was very friendly and did a great job. Next tim, though, I think we would prefer a room higher up on the ship.
Entertainment
never needed something to do that's for sure!
Service and Staff
We were greated with a smile in all instances. We especially enjoyed one of the wait staff in the Lido deck of the ship. She helped us often to find a table to sit at and got our coffee or drink i.e. ice tea or whatever. She went beyond the call of duty to be friendly and helpfyul to everyone she could. Our stateroom staff was also friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The evening dining room wait staff also was very pleasant to be around and very accommodating to our needs. There were 8 of us at a table and we all enjoyed their friendliness and accommodating ways.
