It was an Average cruise.

Sail Date: February 25, 2012

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

I liked the layout of the rooms. We had a connecting room as we were traveling with our son & family. That was the best part of the cruise. We have traveled many times with the Carnival and it seems the Company is cutting back on extras. The food on this ship was NOT good and neither were the shows. The children's play area at the pool was excellent,--Carnival does cater to families,--but I do wish their quality of food was better.
A nice ship, but they need a better Chef and better shows.

Pros: The Balcony was lovely. The layout of the room was very good.

Cons: The FOOD was NOT GOOD. The ship needs a new Chef. The shows were NOT good.

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!

Entertainment
Poor shows.
Service and Staff
The staff didn't seem very happy. They were courteous enough but they didn't seem very happy.
Children's Programs
We had a 4 yr old and he loved the pool and the slides. Carnival seems to cater to families.
Cabin / Stateroom
I really enjoyed the room.
Food and Dining
The food was NOT good. The ship needs a New Chef.
Ship Quality
Ship's layout was good
