We have cruised several times on many different ships/cruiselines. In choosing this trip it was 100% about destination for us.

Great ship with excellent, attentive staff

Pros: Ports of Call

Recommends Carnival Dream? No.

Food and Dining
Overall there is plenty of food at all hours of the day/night. The dining room food was good-the staff excellent. Chef Art Steakhouse is a must-do. We ate there one night and it was excellent.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony room on deck 9 overlooking one of the hot tubs deck 5. Although we were 4 decks above we could her every conversation going on...this was actually quite entertaining at times.
Service and Staff
I did not encounter one staff member that was not helpful and pleasant-they were all terrific. When we checked into our room we asked the cabin steward to keep our ice-bucket full--and he did.., twice a day. The room was cleaned and prepped every day and evening.
We happened to be on a cruise where there was a very large group from No/So Carolina(?) who had something to do with music/radio industry etc....they performed a little concert on Friday on Lido deck that was terrific. We also spent time in casino and the staff (especially at craps table) was top notch and made the game fun.
