Cheesy decorations, food much better quality on other cruise lines, always very crowded, over-charges for every little thing. You would think that for over 9K for 3 tiny cabins with only windows, more would be included. No soft drinks, premium drinks are included. Buffet was often the only option, which was overcrowded and greasy food. Felt nasty afterwards. Gym was tiny and always over-crowded also.

Food and Dining

We were moved from our original dining table assignment after the first night. We were told that someone else had requested to be moved and so we were re-assigned to their old table. That new table was in the most noisy, congested areas with waiters that were much worse. When I called to ask why this was done and asked to be moved back, they only told me that the service would be impecable from then on. So, we were left at the new table, and the service never really improved.

Children's Programs

Kids 'Camp Carnival' was nice but the facilities were very small. We had kids in the 4-5 group, the 6-8 group, and the 9-11 group. Not bad, but much nicer on other cruise lines.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most staff were very nice and acommodating.

Cabin / Stateroom

Clean and maid service always timely and efficient. Tiny rooms with hard mattresses.

Been there many times. Not much new. Went on the Blackbeards Cay Stingray adventure. It was ok.

Pros: Lots of activities on board

Cons: Not much for the kids to do, average at best food, crowded always

Recommends Carnival Dream? No.
