Confused/Yet overall good vacation

Sail Date: June 18, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was beautiful. Food at the Gathering was bland, tough and honestly the worse food I have ate on any carnival cruise

Pros: Deli.....and Edwin?(in dining room) as well as our room stewards

Cons: Noise.........too many out of control kids!!! Made it my only bad cruise.

Recommends Carnival Dream? Yes!

Food and Dining
Seemed like same food over and over. Did not eat in dining room much as another party needed our table so we stopped going. Come to find out they never even used it.
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was great, but with all the noise I think location was terrible.
Entertainment
Good, but not as good as shows seen on other ships
Children's Programs
Hard to say.......kids everywhere not sure where they were suppose to be. Little kids playing on Gym equipment(should not have been allowed) Wonder why have rules when no one is going to uphold them??
Ship Quality
Always cleaning
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
beaches were nice. Visited French side.
Don't Miss: Beaches all nice
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Too expensive for taxi's, average shopping at port
Nassau, Bahamas
Slums.....
