Dream ship not such a "dream"

Sail Date: January 01, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

This ship is just OK... very long lines for food, very slow service, and impossible to get a chair to sit in the sun. With so many people on board it was always congested. The shows were not good at all with the exception of a magician which was fabulous. Also, the food was very cheap, everything tasted like it had gelatin in it to "stretch" the food - no taste. One late night buffet only which was had very little "pazazz" - wouldn't pick this shp again.

Pros: Very large - beautiful ship

Cons: too crowded, very unfriendly staff (no smiles at all!) and food less than impressive

Recommends Carnival Dream? No.

Food and Dining
Buffet (lido) deck was very very congested, service very slow, very unfriendly people on this ship (service staff)
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
paid a lot of money to have a special "treat" of a spa experience. This was very nice however was pressured into buying spa products or the staff member wouldn't let me leave (felt required to buy!) - got out of room only to return item that I didnt' want.
Entertainment
singers were not good at all - didnt enjoy the entertainment.
Children's Programs
Cabin / Stateroom
