Carnival Dream Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Sail Date: December 11, 2010
Ship: Carnival Dream
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 6 years ago
Review SummaryThis was our 21st cruise and was the best. Carnival has accomplished a lot compared to our initial cruises approx 10 years ago on Carnival. Carnival is my first choice over RCL, NCL Costa and Princess (NCL really sucked and RCL was much more expensive). Carnival tries to give us the best value which is important to us. NCL charges for sauna and Carnival does not. Carnival's steaks were slightly tough, Escargo was very bad but their lobster was great. Evening entertainment/shows needs improvement but adult comedy was excellent. It was most enjoyable because we went with friends. Carnival also kept many 'fun things to do" which NCL cut out.
Overall I would commend and recommend the Carnival Dream.

Ports of Call
Pros: Great food, excellent room service and beautiful newest ship; well planned to handle 4000 guests. I will go with Carnival again because they have the low price guarantee if the fare drops before sailing.
Cons: Cozumel and other ports are exclusive Carnival which forces you to take their excursions or you are stuck on their property/piers.
