invalid-33482 Sail Date: October 23, 2010 Ship: Carnival Dream Cabin Type: Oceanview Traveled As: Singles/Friends Reviewed: 6 years ago
My overal impression of the ship was great. This was my 7th sailing with Carnival and was by far the best yet. The ship is simply beautiful and was everything that I hoped for. Everyone on board this ship went above and beyond to meet and exceed all my expectations. I have to admit I did not want to get off and wished I had booked a btb . I can hardly wait until my next cruise ..... as soon as I save up some more money
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food on board was just normal. Nothing was over the top , but it was all good and everyone should be able to find something to suit their needs . I did not try the specialty restaurant , so cannot give an opinion on that

The entertainment was awesome. I only went to 3 shows , but they were all very entertaining and were worth all the time spent enjoying. The casino was nice , but quite small. The bands and the comedy shows were great too
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. There was one guy working on the Lido Deck that was never in a very good mood. A cruise ship did not seem to be the place he should be working. Everyone else on the ship though was just great. Our didnig room staff was the best I've ever encountered and went above and beyond to make our dining experience wonderful. i know I can't say names , but if you are luck , maybe you will get them also

The ship size was perfect for me. My roomamte had a little difficulty finding her way around , but it was no big deal. I just pointed her in the right direction. The decor was gorgeous and the stateroom was always clean. We had perfect access to the dining room and the Lido deck , which made life on board much easier
Cabin / Stateroom

My stateroom was the best . The second shower and sink in the room make this so convenient for everyone. I would love to have this option on all ships. The size was perfect and there seemed to be so much additional closet space , you could also slide your luggage right ubder your be dwith no problem
I have been to Nassau so many times , so we did not do anything exciting there. Just walked off the ship and went into the many small shops right at the port. If you have never been there, I do recommend going to Atlantis ... it is just a short cab ride and very nice
