Mixed Feeling

Sail Date: October 23, 2010

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

I have been crusing for 20 plus years and feel that bigger is not always better. The Dream has made room to add more passengers; however, the lido deck food court remained the same. There were always lines for no matter what we wanted to do or attend. I will say the staff on the Dream was still very professional. This is not the style of crusing I enjoy and will most likely not crusie on the Dream again.

Pros: Food and service on the "Dream" were excellent.

Cons: The Dream was very crowded, long waits for elevators and lines on the Lido deck.

Recommends Carnival Dream? No.

Shows remain the same from ship to ship, not much changed.
Ship Quality
The layout was nice, just way too many passengers for the space available.
Food and Dining
Food was great and dinning room service was excellent. However, the food on the lido deck never chaged day in and day out.
Cabin / Stateroom
Spacious room and good service.
Service and Staff
Staff was great for the size of the ship and number of passengers.
