Great Cruise

Sail Date: April 30, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Very impressed. Although I am aware it is soon to be refurbished, for an older ship, it was very clean and well kept. Enjoyed the service.

Pros: The food was excellent as well as the service.

Cons: The Activity Director, Noonan, was boring, inefficient and had nothing positive to add to the entertainment.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Entertainment
Evening entertainment was limited. Bingo started 40 minutes late. Noonan, Cruise Director, did not add anything to the entertainment. Terrible jokes and boring.
Ship Quality
Ship was kept very clean. Perfect size ship for our needs. Easy to get from one place to another
Food and Dining
Food was very good. Great variety as well as appealing. Plenty to choose from at all 3 meals as well as in between. Loved the pizza and Deli bar.
Cabin / Stateroom
Liked that there was no bedspread. Mattress and pillow were a little too hard. Size of room was ample and enjoyed the balcony.
Service and Staff
EVERYONE was most courteous, helpful, knowledgeable etc., from our Cabin Steward, our Waiter and everyone else. Great staff!
