Forced Fun - Party Cruise

Sail Date: April 01, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Loud, obnoxious party cruise. If you're 24 years old and want to drink youself stupid for 4 days, this is the cruise for you!

Pros: Not Much

Cons: Crew was constantly trying to get everybody to whoop it up - really felt like we HAD to show how much fun it was.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.

We went to the art auction to "learn more about art" and went to the shopping finds meeting to hear about shopping in Cozumel, but they were like infomercials where they'd keep holding you and holding you with the promise of a fabulous drawing at the end, all the time trying to get you to buy something - along the lines of a Roncomatic... "but wait, it you buy right now, you'll get 5 for the price of 4 and if you sign up right now, I'll throw in the kitchen shears free!"
Service and Staff
Other than obnoxiuos hosts trying to get you to whoop it up all the time and the wait staff constantly hovering to push drinks on you, the rest of the crew was great. Very pleasant and polite.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Hot stuff wasn't hot enough and cold stuff wasn't cold enough, nothing had much flavor.
