LEAST FAVORITE CRUISE EVER

Sail Date: February 20, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Not impressed. Ship is outdated. Ship is very clean. Areas are not clearly marked with signs. Elevators slow. Decor dark.

Pros: My cabin and balcony

Cons: mobs of people, especially at pool areas, lack of supervision, people holding lounge chairs

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Clean, decor ok, few amenties, outdated TV and hairdryer. Bed comfortable.
Ship Quality
Clean ship. Needs painting and updating
Food and Dining
Appetizers and desserts were good. Salmon very good. Breads, croissants not so good.
Service and Staff
Head waiter RATNA was excellent as well as cabin attendant ERIC. Some staff in bar areas, dining rooms and stores not helpful or informative.
Entertainment
The guests seem to be the entertainment. THE DANCERS WERE FANTASTIC AS WELL AS THE SETS FOR THE VOGUE SHOW. Piano players and singers were so so.
