Overall the cruise was wonderful.

Sail Date: January 23, 2012

Room Type: Oceanview

There appears to be a culture disconnect that is different from the other Carnival ships we have sailed on. The staff is the same quality. Being late for port schedules is unexcusable if there is no mechanical or weather related reason. There was little communication that helped to make adjustments to the tardiness.

Pros: Each passenger is treated special and individually. This is business as usual for Carnival.

Cons: We were really disappointed with the tardiness of the ship in Grand Cayman & Miami. This effected the overall outcome of the experience.. Tardiness of a vessel with thousands of customers is inexcusable. Tours & flights had to be cancelled or cut short. Captain's competency should be assessed.

Captain and cruise director need to be held accountable for the tardiness and communication disconnect for missed times at ports. Unexcusable!
