Was able to relax but not #1 service

Sail Date: October 03, 2011

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was just too full. Our cabin attendant never really synced up with our schedule like most cruises. Dining room service was rushed. Designated smoking lounge was book for "private functions" most nights. Cruise director Noonan was A+

Pros: Itinerary

Cons: Service

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.

Ship Quality
Aging ship, dirty carpets, many overhauls needed.
Food and Dining
Food was great - service was sub-par compared to most cruises.
Cabin / Stateroom
Nice balcony room - slightly dirty looking but had everything we needed.
Service and Staff
Bad stateroom service, but the staff overall were friendly and helpful.
Grand Turk Island
Great Beach!
