5 Night Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: September 10, 2011
Ship: Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple

Ship was clean but showed a lot of wear and tear. The service was good the ship service people were excellent. However, we were upset to hear they are paid so poorly; like slave labor. The food was not good. Dinner was not hot and very little flavor. Selection was not good. The steak was tough and th only steak offered. why not have a Filiet Migion at least 1 night. Only good thing was the pizza up on Lido. Grand Cayman was OK. Enjoyed snorkel excursion. Jamaica was not good. We had people harrass us until we finally turned around and went back to the ship. We felt like we were in danger being there. Why would a ship put there customers lifes in danger.
We will never go on another cruise again. We could hardly wait to get home. Very boring not what we expected.

When we found out how much they are paid we were very unhappy. We will not cruise again and contribute to that type of slave labor.

This was very scary. We felt unsafe because we were constantly harrassed so we went back to the ship and did not spend a penny

Pros: Service was excellent

Cons: The food was not good. Very bland. Steak like rubber. Poor selection.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.
