An average cruise

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

It seemed a bit old and outdated. I felt that the photo's were over priced.

Pros: The comedians, when we were actually able to get in.

Cons: the lack of availability to outdoor pools and hot tubs.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The formal restaurants were very nice and the wait staff were awesome. The outdoor and indoor buffet stations ran out of some things or closed abruptly.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our shower in the bathroom kept overflowing and the bathroom floor would fill up with water and we needed it plunged. The closet door to where the safe was stored was broken and needed to be fixed.
Entertainment
We tried for 3 days to see a comic show, on the last night we FINALLY got in!!
Service and Staff
Key West, Florida
We didn't do much except walk around. The first store we went into a bought things screwed us on their prices and we ended up paying $150 for a man's shirt and a sun dress for myself.
Cozumel, Mexico
It rained pretty much the whole time we were there.
