Cruise was nice, not exceptional.

Sail Date: July 16, 2011

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was nice and clean. The rooms were cleaned expeditiosly. We sat for all our meals and enjoyed that experience. The buffet lines were always long. Shows were enjoyable. Overall a good cruise.

Pros: Dining experience and shore excursions

Hard to say, really. My 13 and 15 year old would did not/would not participate. Not a reflection of cruise. My kids are shy.

Loved swimming with the stingrays, but don't take the boat there. Take the catamaran. Boat is very, very slow. Left no time for shopping or visiting the town. We did the stingray/beach party. Beach party was expensive.
Don't Miss: Swimming with stingrays.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Dunns River Falls is fun, but one time only. It gets crowded. Try to do it early. The beach party was really fun, as it is all inclusive and the food is good. However, the beach site isn't great. Your view is obstructed by the ship.
