GOOD cruise for some, not others

Room Type: Oceanview

Ship was great, The activities on board were so so, except the comedy shows. Definitely do the excursions on Cozumel, they totally made our trip awesome.

Pros: We loved Cozumel the best, wish we would have had 2 days there and skipped key west/ The people who cleaned our room did an awesome job.

Cons: Cheap Entertainment. I guess the shows probably looked better if you were drunk, which was prob 60% or more of the people at at any given time/ Food was so so/ We also had thin walls between rooms-we had yelling, begging, jumping children next door -the issue was resolved after we made a complaint/

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Entertainment
Cheap entertainment. We left early for one of the shows. The dancers were not in sync, poor choreography. I think they thought that moving togetherish = dance number. We've been to many shows and this was pathetic. I think they tried to make it better by putting some of the guys in speedos, putting girls in thongs and push up bras. On the other hand, The Comedians never failed to impress.
Food and Dining
The dining rooms/restaurants were great, but the buffets were redundant and not that great-especially after a few days.

Key west...You don't get too much time there. We got off, walked to the beach....It was one of the only beaches and it was SMALL, and the water wasn't that great with lots of weeds. We didn't have time to shop or go to any excursions. I say Skip Key West, and do two days in Cozumel!
Don't Miss: ?
Cozumel, Mexico
We went swimming with the dolphins at one of the national parks five minutes from port. It was an awesome experience with hands on. Totally worth the money. Remember to bring a waterproof camera or buy a disposable from the gift shop for 22 bucks. If not they charge you 100.00 for pics-almost as much as the tickets. We also went snorkeling off the beach in the same park. It was amazing-tropical fish swimming all around you. There are rental shops all around the beach for snorkels and fins. Go to the shops further from the main area and they are cheaper. We only payed 10.00 each for snorkel gear. The con of this is that we had intermittent rain showers and it was pouring around 6 so we didn't get shopping in.
Don't Miss: Swim with dolphins, snorkeling
