Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28 Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Sail Date: June 23, 2011
Ship: Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (young children)

This was my Seventh Carnival Cruise. As always the staff was friendly and courteous, and the ship was clean and had many exciting features. that being said there were a few shortcomings as compared to our last sailing as a family on the Carnival Glory.
1.) Early Seating Dinner felt rushed. My 89 year old father was traveling with us and commented on this.
2.) Dessert menu needs to change a little each night. What if you don't care for the Choclate Melting Cake.
3.) My 10 year old son did not find many of the Camp Activities to his liking. But, he was not allowed to use the video games at this time. The only open time to use these games was after 10 pm when you have to pay the night time baby sitting fee to be in the camp.
