Great Experience

Sail Date: May 07, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This was our first cruise so we didn't have any preconceived ideas of what the ship would be like. Overall we thought the ship was nice (we weren't overly "wowed" by it but it was very nice. I was super impressed with how clean it was and workers were continually working round the clock it seemed to keep the ship looking spotless. Our steward was awesome in making sure our room was in great condition daily and even cleaned my balacony room windows for me upon checkin (they were really spotty from the previous trip).

We would definitely cruise with Carnival again but will probably look for a different ship that would be more kid friendly in the future. However, we loved our experience overall.

Pros: Beautiful weather, great service, great food, our balacony room was wonderful

Cons: pools were disappointing, organized tours were just ok

We liked snorkeling and Sting Ray City was very disappointed in the charter boat that took us to these activities. We felt the boat was very clean or well maintained. Felt very much like just a number on the boat with no real "personal" attention. However, at the end they stepped up there interaction because they were expecting a tip.
Don't Miss: Love the excursion but would not go with Kelly Watersports again
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Didn't care for the tours that we did necessarily. Alot of waiting around and Beach Club was ok but would not feel a need to do this again
Don't Miss: Loved the Dunn's Falls but not necessarily all the waiting around we did before it began
