Awesome Cruise

Sail Date: March 26, 2011

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was very well maintained and beautiful. It was very big, but didn't like how we had to go to one side to go up a level, then in the middle to get to another. My disabled fiance couldn't get above level ten because he is in a wheelchair. Also to book the excursions they should have more handicapped accessible options.

Pros: Staff very friendly.

Cons: Drinks too expensive.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
All suites should be handicapped accessible to the bathroom especially for handicapped people who cant walk at all. Also the balcony doors and stateroom doors should all be the standard 36 inches so a wheelchair can fit through.
Service and Staff
George Town, Grand Cayman
They should have a ramp to lead from the boat to the tender instead of steps because not everyone can walk. It would have been easy to put one over the steps. This port not very helpful or easy for a disabled person who can't walk. I paid all that money, so it should of been easy for my fiance who cannot walk at all.
