5 Night Eastern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: December 13, 2010
Ship: Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28
Cabin Type: Oceanview

The ship was lovely, as usual....Wonderful food and staff...However, people do NOT move fast enough in the buffet lines!!! You sometimes have a 20 min-30 min wait!!....The shows were only the first 2 nights and the last night....They should have some show every night...Also, don't have blasting videos on Deck 9 all the time...It gets wearing...Also, they should have the comedy acts in the large showroom...They were waiting lines for every show, yet the main shows were rarely packed...

Food and Dining

A few more choices would be nice, but the quality was very good...

Entertainment

3 out of 5
They should have entertainment in the main room every night. They should add some more small activities, like Battle of the Sexes, etc. They should have different types of music, eg Irish, French, etc. Also, they could have an acoustic folk room..

We loved the beach...The museum was wonderful!!...Very friendly people....Good if you do a lot of water activities (which we didn't)...Not much of a downtown...just a few huts...
Don't Miss: Museum

There isn't a whole lot to see....The people there can be very rude and surly...

We loved the beach, right near the ship!!...Nice BBQ too...

Pros: beautiful white sand beaches and warm water

Cons: Nassau--the people
