We would not recommend this ship because the overall staff were suprisingly grouchy. We had excellent service from our steward and also our formal dining waiter but I was a bit disappointed in the people. Our last cruise with Carnival, we found everyone friendly and happy. The guys serving pizza in between meals were the worst and the cocktail people were so grouchy that we decided not to order many drinks. My husband came back from Half moon Cay island where they took his blood pressure and it was high there. The staff on the island was very nice and helpful and friendly. When we got back on the ship, my husband was rudely treated and was told there would be a charge if he wanted to check his blood pressure. That suprised us and left us with bad feelings on that. We took a glass bottom boat trip that we refer to now as the "screaming bottom boat ride" because 3 children screamed and cried the whole time. We discovered later that kids can go free so that is why. We cancelled all our future excersions from the cruise line because we did not want to pay lots of money for that experience again. We were very rudely treated again which suprised us when my husband explained to the excersion people on the boat about this. The people across the hall from us were heavy smokers in their room and although we asked at least 5 people on the boat to help us, they told us there was nothing they could do even though there was supposed to be no smoking in the rooms we were told when I booked the cruise. We have taken a Carnival cruise in the past with a wonderful time but I think we will try another cruise line in the future.

We had a wonderful waiter named Winston who was fantastic but food was very average.

With the exceptions of our waiter at dinner and our stateroom man, we were very disappointed. People were grouchy which suprised us and actually seemed to be rude even at times.

Our stateroom man was very attentive and excellent but the stateroom was in need of some paint and repair.

Don't Miss: Sting ray adventure

Adastra gardens was fantastic!

Pros: The price and our balcony cabin

Cons: Lots of screaming children at formal dinners and the food was mediocre which suprised us both since we have been on numerous cruises in the past. We would probably not book again with Carnival
