Good first time cruise

This was our first time going on a cruise and we were told by friends that this was a good "first time cruise" option. They were definitely correct. There was a lot to do on the ship and as far as excursions on port of call. However, we were not expecting to spend as much money as we did while on the ship. Soda card is a great way to go. Alcoholic beverages averaged at $8/drink, so we limited ourselves on those. There is a $10/day/person gratuity fee that is charged at the end of the cruise. Parking at the port (at least in Miami) was another $80.

The food was very much cafeteria style. The food in the dining rooms was a lot better, but not by much.

Pros: Excursion options and activities on the boat

Cons: Food
