Cruisin with a side of Muster

Sail Date: April 29, 2010

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

Good, would take the same cruise again, but not longer than 5 days on this boat

Pros: Boat, Room was nice, Good food

Cons: Rough seas, dining at later dinner when the stablizers are turned off during dinner making for a rocky dinner

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Ship Quality
Clean, slightly run down boat - a little out dated
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Ship a bit outdated. There are only a few areas to hang out for those in 20s and early 30s. An update to the disco or larger casino would have been nice.
Cabin / Stateroom
Good, we fit 3 people in ours comfortably
Key West, Florida
Just enough time to see Key West. Perfect amount of time. Prices for shops and restuarants were surprising reasonable. Hemingway's home
Don't Miss: Duval Street and the Buoey - kodak moment
Cozumel, Mexico
Unfortunately, we had to leave port 1.5 hours early due to an incoming storm that the Captain wanted to avoid. Since our time was cut short, we headed to a public beach. Me and two friends did this on our own (no excursion). It was $30 r/t for all of us in a cab. And it was 2$ to rent a beach chair, water toys (climbing wall, slides, etc were free)
Don't Miss: Massage on beach for a dollar a minute
