Just cruised, 11/21/09 - 11/26/09. When we arrived at the port we were told our itinerary had changed due to propulsion issues and instead of Jamaica and Grand Cayman, we could only make the Bahamas. They said we could cancel and get a refund but then we would have been out the airfare and they wouldn't comp us on that, so we went. Carnival did give us a $200 credit which I am still debating with them as I feel it is about half of what it needs to be to get me to sail with them again. It turns out the ship had the same problem in October of this year.

Pros: The dining staff, room staff and food.

Cons: At times the staff seemed unorganized in handling large groups.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.
