As a first-time cruiser, I would not recommend the ship. The ship had a propulsion problem that itinerary was diverted from Jamaica-Grand Cayman to Halfmoon Cay-Nassau. Carnival only gave us $50 credit which I think is definitely not enough to compensate for our disappointments. We would have cancelled but because of the timing around Thanksgiving we opted not to. Bottomline, the ship is unreliable.

Pros: Quality of Food was impressive.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.
