I've been on better cruises

Sail Date: May 28, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The Destiny is very dark. They use alot of tube lighting and rope lighting and the stairs are hard to manuver at night. The cleanliness was par. The layout was average. The food was par. The crowds were too much. Always waited in a line. Never had fresh food. The staff was unfriendly and not helpful.

Pros: price

Cons: the room was noisy, near a/c large noisy unit/ , balcony no overhead, people were within reach above us and constantly flicked cigarette ashes on us.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? No.
