Great service, great cruise

Sail Date: March 19, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship was clean and the entertainment was great. Loved the comedians and other shows. The production shows were not my type, more of a Vegas cabaret theme, but there was plenty of other fun stuff to do. Food was good, especially the dinners each night. Most importantly, they took all the stress away. Getting on and off the ship was incredibly easy, and there was incredible service throughout.

Pros: The crew went out of their way to give us a good trip

Cons: I wish we had more time in our first port, Key West

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Key West, Florida
Definitely try the key lime pie from the Blond Giraffe. I recommend the Rum Barrel as a great restaurant/bar, especially if you are from Philadelphia or love Philly sports. This is Pat Croce's place.
Don't Miss: Definitely at least walk over and see the beach.
Cozumel, Mexico
Do the sail and snorkel excursion. Absolutely worth it. One of the cheaper excursions ($61) and it includes open bar, snorkeling, sailing, and some time at a private beach with a lot of fun things. Plus, there is still time to enjoy the city.
Don't Miss: Carlos N Charlies. Nuff said.
