big ship, lots of people, but great wait staff. Not really crowded and children were keep busy, so they were not under foot all the time.

Pros: The slow relaxing pace

Cons: Like all cruises the company tries to sell over priced excursions.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Grand Turk Island
Went snorkeling on an excursion, good trip even though there were many people. Then took a taxi around town on my own. It is a small island and can be seen in an hour or two. Presently, there is hurricane damage, but the cab driver was great showing me his home and many points of interest.
Don't Miss: snorkeling or diving
Nassau, Bahamas
Get off the boat and take your own water taxi ride to visit Atlantis, a couple of hours. Then take a taxi around Nassau, both will be cheaper and a better tour.
Don't Miss: Atlantis aquarium
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
snorkeling excursion was good, beach would have been good but a cold front arrived. Lunch buffet was very good. Great day to spend at the beach weather permitting
Don't Miss: beach, shore lunch
