We had read alot of bad reviews of this ship. We had cruised Royal before. To our surprise, it was ok. The ship was clean. The food on the Lido was cold, and not run very well. We had to wait in line along time. We had a balcony room, but it was very crowded. The windows on the ship were extremely dirty. The elevators were out of order alot. The shows were ok, but the cruise director was great (Jorge). On a better note, the Islands were wonderful. Turks and Caicos was so beautiful. If you have never cruised before, you will like this ship. If you have been on Royal....well no comparison. People had told us that embarking was slow , but not so, we were on in 20 minutes. Disembarking was fast and easy also.

Pros: The Islands

Cons: The Food

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.
