The Ghetto cruise

Sail Date: September 21, 2008

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

No passengers boarded and waited 3 hours in the heat before moving inside the terminal for another hour. We were given no explaination as to what was the delay. They did provide water for a few then ran out of cups. We were ignored by Carnival Cruise Lines and our welfare was not considered.

Pros: Cabin stewarts and dining room waiters

Cons: Ship wasn't ready to sail and long lines

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.

Key West, Florida
Best port of the trip.
George Town, Grand Cayman
So so, not much to see.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Beautiful island, but the natives were very aggressive and scarey to the point of intimidation. We did not shop because we wanted to get back to the safety of the ship.
