It seemed like there weren't enough resources to go around--not enough deck chairs, not enough exercise equipment, etc. Everything was uncomfortably crowded and never seemed to open up. It was about 50/50 in terms of quality of ship employees--we met some really amazing and wonderful people, but also ran into quite a few who could care less about customer service. Also felt (vs. other cruises I've enjoyed) that there were few activities planned, they weren't as interesting as they could have been and the fees for activities, spa services, etc. were much more expensive vs. what I've seen in the past.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Absolutely the only factor that saved this trip. Dining staff and food was outstanding.

Didn't seem like enough was planned, many things not appealing to our 40-ish age group (e.g., song and dance "variety" shows), "nominal" fees for yoga and pilates classes not very nominal.

Service and Staff

About 50/50 but huge variance--the ones that were good were outstanding, the ones that were bad were painful to deal with and it truly felt like they didn't care one tiny bit about service.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Would have given top rating for cleanliness, etc. except the layout was funky--ship was separated into 3 very distinct sections and you had to walk down the long corridors for cabins to get from section to section--it was like there was no common area way to get from one section to another. Just very strange.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We went for mid-priced on the cabin (an inside room) and were very pleased. Small-ish but not uncomfortably so, clean and comfortable.

Pros: The food - it was excellent, and we really lucked out with an amazing group for our dinner table

Cons: Not enough resources to go around, boring activities for days
