What a surprise to board this ship and find out our cruise itinery had changed. We purchased a trip to Jamaica and Cayman Isl and ended up in Cozumel and Costa Maya (what a dump by the way). What a surpirise to find out this happens to this ship all the time. The cruise before us-same thing, One person I talked to said this is the second time it happened to her. It is one thing to know the ship has propulsion problems but to continue to advertise this cruise and then substitute a lesser one is just a scam and bad business. I WILL NOT recommend Carnival and am disapointed that Amex continues to sell this cruise, knowing that it will be diverted.

Pros: dining room food and service was very good

Cons: change of itinery

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? No.
