Nice relaxing cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2009

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The staff of this ship is very friendly and most gracious. The overall cruise was very nice. They have their hand in your pocket at every turn. Even at one port the shopping area they leave off at is owned by Carnival. Never miss an opportunity for you spend more.

Pros: Impeccable housekeeping. Our cabin was tended three times a day!

Cons: Too much picture taking. EVERYTHING costs money!

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? Yes!

Food and Dining
Excellent food and wait staff.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very nice, very clean and very attentive.
Entertainment
the shows, which were free were really good and very entertaining.
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
many of the staff could not answer specific questions- even at the information desk. Ex: Will there be a place to buy batteries at Half Moon Cay? Ans No. There was, but we left camera behind due to previous information was in error.
