The ship is very nice and accommodating. At times you forget you are out at sea. However, if you are out to have a good time and want to spend less I recommend an all inclusive resort. Alcohol, coke, and juice are all very expensive. If you you only like to drink water, lemonade, and iced tea then this is the trip for you. Any extra activities come at at a steep cost. Excursions are a lot of $$ as well. Use private tour companies to do your excursions so you can save. They are usually 1/2 the cost of the ships fees.

I enjoyed the trip but I will not do a cruise again. In all you pay more if not the same as an all inclusive resort. I paid almost $900 for two tickets and almost $500 in extras.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food is good as are the waiters.

Be aware that Carnival states its all you can drink juice but this only includes iced tea and lemonade.

Also you are not aloud to have any of your own liquor on board. If you buy alcohol on ship or on the mainland you cannot drink it as it will have to be confiscated.

Again I have nothing bad to say about the ship. The vessel and crew are great.

Cabin / Stateroom

This depends on how much you want to pay. I got a room with no window. The room was solely to get rest. The ship has many events going on to pass time by you rarely will be in your room.

Wonderful Island. People are very nice. The tours here are amazing. I recommend the stingray experience and snorkeling. The waters in Grand Cayman are the clearest you will ever experience.

Ocho Rios is a shit hole. The city is dirty, people are rude, and everything is expensive. Ocho Rios is not recommended. Do not get involved in any free lance tours here they will rip you off and they are dangerous.
Don't Miss: NOTHING!!!!!!!!

Pros: Service is great. Really nice staff. The dining experience is really great. At times you forget you are out at sea.

Cons: The trip is not all inclusive. Alcohol is very expensive as are the excursions. They mention all you can drink juice but they do not specify that the juice is only limited to lemonade and iced tea.

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? Yes!
