Great Service

Sail Date: February 28, 2009

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship and amenaties were wonderful. It would be better if the price of the drinks weren't so much. $6 for each drink was worth only one drink a day. Sound like fun? Not really. They take nice pictures, but again the price was a little high to really get a good overall record of your vacation, but we had our own cameras.

Pros: We had complications with one of our group, she had to cancel @ the last minute. I hope we will get her refund without complications.

Cons: Hertz rental service

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED) 28? Yes!

Food and Dining
I cruised on the Sensation before and felt the food quality was better. It was just a little off. And again, for wine with meals was also $6 per glass, a big rip off.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We had issues with the TV remote and the safe in the room which was taken care of right away by our Steward.
Service and Staff
George Town, Grand Cayman
What a fabulous place. Will go back again
Don't Miss: Steve the 'Pirate' tour guide
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
It's very hard to enjoy yourself when everyone is begging to spend your money. Just remember to bargin everywhere. Even in the stores recommended by the ship.
