5 Sardines in a Can.

Sail Date: February 14, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The water slide was great.Drinks were pricy.Food was good.Wait staff was Great.Although they do not tell you that they do not get all the gratuities spelled out at the embarkation meeting. They are greatly underpaid immigrants in an upscale society of tourists. Rooms ???? Well lets just say if you have 3 kids;A trash compactor has more room than we did. They would be fine for 2 or 3;But not 5. Remember to mark your seats with something personal on the days at sea by 7am or you will be sitting in the cabin. As for the tours spelled out.Greatly over rated $59.00 per person for DUNN's River Falls for example; Family of 5= $300.00. To walk up a water fall; Then go to SEE if you can squeeze in to maybe get a snapshot of a dolphin; That is if some one not weighing 300+ is there first; They don't move.Women and children first;FORGET IT !!! Every person for themselves. If you have kids like I do;Do yourself a favor;Take a DISNEY cruise.

Pros: Not a lot

Cons: The size of the room

Recommends Carnival Destiny (RETIRED)? No.

Service and Staff
My steward was great and so were the waiters.
Food and Dining
Children's Programs
Cabin / Stateroom
Do not expect to fit 5 in your cabin or you wil be greatly stressed
Entertainment
Not a ton of fun for the kids
Ship Quality
Pools a very small.Hot tubs are warm;If you can get in them at all.Kids seem to dominate them.Boat was built in 1997;It shows
George Town, Grand Cayman
Watch out for the stampede of natives waiting to take you for a ride.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Find a cab for $20 bucks a head and see the island; All else is a rip off;$159.00 to ride a dolphin for 20 yards was a bust.
Don't Miss: ?????????????????????????????
